He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Law from the Law School of Universidad Diego Portales (1997), summa cum laude.
He was awarded the Diego Portales University Prize which is conferred upon the most outstanding graduate of the Law School’s graduating class.
He is a partner of the law firm HARASIC / BARROS, where he litigates in civil, commercial, criminal and antitrust matters.
He has taken on several postgraduate courses, including: Diploma in Constitutional Guarantees Protection, Universidad Diego Portales (1998); the negotiation workshops “Methods of the Harvard Negotiation Project” (1999) and “Advanced Negotiation Workshop” (2000), taught by Conflict Managment Inc. at Harvard Law School, Cambridge, Massachusetts; Diploma in Criminal Procedure Reform, Universidad de Chile (2003); Diploma in Competition Economics for Lawyers, Universidad de los Andes (2007); and Diploma in Competition: Economics, Law and Regulation, Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile (2009).
In 2011 he was elected by his peers as Counsellor of the General Council of the Chilean Bar Association A.G., a position he held from 2011 to 2015.
In 2015, he was elected by the General Council of the Chilean Bar Association A.G. as member of the Ethics Tribunal of the Bar Association, a position he holds until today.
He was a partner of Harasic & López between 1998-2016 and of Harasic, Medina, Dal Pozzo & López, which later became Harasic, Medina & Dal Pozzo, between 2017 and 2021.
Mr. Harasic is a member of the Chilean Bar Association (since 2000), and a member of the NGO Libertades Públicas (since 2007). In the latter entity, he held the position of President during the 2010-2013 term.
